Dr. Annette Liu is a board certified pediatrician and a certified lactation educator. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Liu moved to the east coast to attend medical school at Albany Medical College in upstate New York and returned back to the west coast to finish her internship and residency training at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Since her residency she has remained in Los Angeles in private practice. Dr. Liu had the privilege of growing up in various parts of the world; including Canada, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan and the United States. Dr. Liu and her husband share a passion for travel and have continued to explore other countries and cultures. Her extensive travels have helped Dr. Liu appreciate and understand different cultures, and interact well with various ethnicities. However their travels may have to be curtailed for now, as they had their first baby recently.

Dr. Barbara Baker is a board certified pediatrician who has been practicing in the south bay community for the past eleven years. She completed her undergraduate and medical school training at the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to complete her internship and residency training at the University of Chicago Hospital. Dr. Baker joined Dr. Liu in September 2001 and together they started Carson Pediatrics Medical Group. Their philosophy is similar in treating their pediatric patients, which includes, a partnership with the parents in treating their child. Dr. Baker also keeps busy with 2 boys of her own.
